We’re more than real estate agents—we’re trusted partners who combine over 40 years of experience with a passion for helping people achieve their dreams.
Pierre: I was 16 when my mom and I boarded a plane, trying to escape Lebanon. The country was in the midst of a brutal civil war, and men my age were being forced into military service. My oldest brother had already fought and been kidnapped; my middle brother had passed away from illness. My parents had endured enough, and my father decided I would migrate to the United States to avoid the same fate.
We cleared security and boarded the plane without issue. I thought we were safe—until, moments before takeoff, soldiers stormed in.
“Pierre Shaheen?” one yelled.
“That’s me,” I said, my heart pounding as my mom began to cry.
“You’re coming with us.”
Desperate, I showed them the special permit my father had miraculously secured from a powerful politician, granting me permission to leave. After a tense phone call, the soldier returned the paper, nodded, and left. Just like that, my life’s path changed forever.
My mom and I landed in Miami with no money and no English. I learned the language quickly out of necessity, working mall jobs to survive. My dad stayed in Lebanon, and I wouldn’t see him for 15 years. Later, I learned that some of my friends who joined the military never made it back. That likely would’ve been me.
Inspired by my father, a real estate broker, I earned my license in 1992, won Rookie of the Year, and built one of the first real estate teams when teams weren’t even a thing. I spent years selling luxury properties, training agents, and investing in real estate. Looking back, I’m profoundly thankful to my parents for the sacrifices that paved the way for the life I have today. My passion for real estate runs deep, and I’m excited to elevate my level of service by partnering with my wife Paula and Larry in this next chapter.
Paula: There I was, sitting in a classroom in the U.S., unable to speak a word of English. When I was 5, my parents moved us from Warsaw, Poland, to Pennsylvania. It was a huge change, but I managed to learn fast and find my place in a new world. I watched my parents do the same. My dad found work as an engineer, and my mom, after already earning an MBA in Warsaw, went back to school to earn another one here to meet accreditation standards. From watching all that they did for our family—and facing my own challenges—I learned the true value of resilience.
Years later, after a career in beauty branding and marketing in New York, I realized the dream I’d worked so hard for didn’t match the reality. I pivoted to marketing for a high-end interior design firm after moving to Florida, which gave me an unexpected but useful insight into design and presentation. Still, something was missing.
That’s when I met Pierre, my now-husband. As first-generation immigrants, we shared the same work ethic, adaptability, and gratitude for the opportunities we have here—and for the sacrifices our parents made to make them possible. Watching him run his business, I realized many of the skills I’d developed in marketing, design, and client service translated perfectly into real estate.
I got my license in 2014 and focused on building my own business, finding my way, and defining how I wanted to work.
My past careers were foundational in many of the skills I use today in real estate. What I love most is being of service to people as they navigate a complex and deeply personal process. The relationships are priceless. Now as a team, we’re able to offer our clients a broader range of strengths and support to better serve them.
With hard work, you can shape your life on your own terms. That’s the example Pierre and I strive to set for our kids.
Larry: I’ve always had the spirit of an entrepreneur. Before I earned my real estate license, I was already running multiple companies within the construction industry.
Beginning in the 1980's my construction career grew to project manager. I became good friends with a fellow Boy Scout leader and we formed R&L General Contractors in Palm Beach county. We traveled to Miami to rebuild homes destroyed during hurricane Andrew, 1992 we landed a contract with Palm Beach County school board and capital improvements providing renovations and build outs for County buildings, parks & schools. We formed Jupiter Island Realty & Mortgage company in a thriving market. This opened a new exciting adventure for me.
But while my businesses thrived, my personal life suffered. I had become a workaholic, consumed by deadlines and deals, and facing a divorce. That’s when I moved to Atlanta and began attending church—a decision that shifted everything. My focus turned from chasing profit to pursuing peace, balance, and purpose.
In 2023, I married Tammy, my incredible wife who shares my values and vision. Together, we’ve built a life rooted in faith, family, and service. Traveling to Africa deepened our perspective—seeing people with so little yet radiating joy reminded us that gratitude and connection brings true fulfillment.
Today, I’m living my dream with passion helping others find their piece of paradise. Family means everything: Tammy and I have seven children and sixteen grandchildren, and we cherish every moment with them. Together, we lead a marriage ministry and support Father’s Destiny International, helping communities in Uganda gain life-changing skills.
At the end of the day, I believe I have found peace. For me, it comes down to this: your vision for the future drives your passion for today. Do what you love, while walking toward an inspiring vision, and protect the life you’ve built. That balance between work, faith, family, and service is where I’ve found true peace.
